I’m Ian,
…and I have always been fascinated by meta-work – the work about the work that you need to do to keep on top of it all.
Not just at work, of course. We’re increasingly having to run our own lives as though we’re still at work, managing commitments, diaries, responsibilities, aligning them with the others in our household.
I can support you to make small changes what will help you, your family or your organisation be as effective as possible and perform at your best.
I have twenty year’s experience experimenting with different systems and processes which I want to share with you to enable you to work or perform at your best.
I have a Masters in Behavioural Science from LSE (London School of Economics). My dissertation explored the impact of interruptions on personal productivity and wellbeing.
I believe this is an area of crucial importance in the workplace, home and coffee-shop – any setting where we are trying to get things done.
My journey started back in the 1990s when I was trying to figure out how to maintain my focus and concentration in archery tournaments. I experimented with sports psychology, meditation, affirmations and visualisation.
I’ve since applied my learning and experimentation in the workplace. If you would like to know more about my professional career in the public and not-for-profit sectors, please visit my LinkedIn page:
